Oh mans. Sometimes, I really think people who are depressed or angry or upset at life just need to take a step back and look at it again, because it really is something. I'm just...very content with things. I'm reminded of that lyric from a Rasputina song: "He was tripping, he was ripped and he was high on life". Except for, you know, the whole being ripped and being a man thing.

Some reasons for why I think life is amazing:

1. This past weekend was absolutely amazing. First, on Friday, I went to see my favorite play, Inherit the Wind with some of my favorite people. The actors were really good (and yes, I did like Brady, for all that Hilary and Deena said he sounded Irish/Indian) and some more awesome people are in it so yes. Much fun. Then, on Saturday, I went to the Art Post. I did nothing really, except draw and watercolor a skull (next I'm going to do that weird fish head one. So weird) but then I talked dad into dropping by the place where the Scholastic Art Show is going to be. It looked empty, so we assumed it was empty, but when we tried to door it was open, so we snuck in. The art there was amazing (I'm honestly surprised mine got as high an award as it did. Some of that stuff was really really good) and ugh I can't wait to come back. THEN Amy took me to see FATE playing at a local bar. Two bands were amazing, while the other two were okay. FATE kicked ass, though, but Amy was the best by far. I had so much fun talking to her. AND THEN, on Sunday, dad took me shopping for THE PRESENT I HAVE WISHED FOR SINCE MY LAST ONE BROKE HALF A YEAR AGO.

And he was nice enough to set it up early. I was so excited I almost...uh...well, I don't know, but I was excited.
