Ironic, huh? I know you're really upset with me, if not at the point of hating me, and it's all justifiable. It really is. That doesn't...change how much I care about you. You're my best friend and I love you. I wouldn't want anyone else in that position.

I can't...tell you how sorry I am. I'm not that great of a person with this--we both have said as much in different terms--but I have done some things for you to make up for not being there and I'd...like to try to share them. Even if you don't look at them, or even this post, I want...the gesture to be there.
