So instead of going to see Pan’s Labyrinth, I attended a small concert in the Arts Villiage. The two acts, Dissonant Grace and Ellery, where both amazing. By chance both acts were made up of married couples. The technical skills, the passion, the lyrics, the music was all there. It was an amazing atmosphere, and I know I was really lucky to have gotten to experience it.
Still, my foremost thought was not about any of that. It was that—I want this. I want someone I deserve, and I want to be worthy of them. I want to be comfortable with them, always. When he’s sad, when I’m sad, when he’s happy, when I’m happy—I want to feel completely comfortable. The way they looked at each other, laughed with each other—I want it.
The fact that they got to do what they want to do in life together is amazing too, but it’s not realistic to expect that. Still, I just. Want it. It doesn’t have to be today, or tomorrow, or next year.
I just want to find it sometime.
That said, you guys should totally check these people out! They’re amazing, and totally adorable together (both couples). I “d’awww”-d several times out loud they were just that cute and amazing.

The recordings of both bands are good, but it doesn't compare to hearing it in person. Both singers have such power and it doesn't seem to transfer as well. But it's still good!
